What Businesses Are Doing
Businesses are not waiting to study the issue. All kinds of businesses are making very impressive reductions in greenhouse gas emissions while saving themselves money. Dupont reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 67% over the 1990 levels. Alcoa aluminum has a goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by 2010. HP and IBM have goals to reduce perfluorocarbon (PFC) emissions by 10 percent by this year. Toyota has a goal to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 5 percent from 1990 levels by this year, and another 5% by 2010.

Their efforts show that cutting greenhouse gases can be good for business.

Local Businesses Do Their Part: Become a ZGreen Business.
